As you complete your journal and final report, you will need to reference the research you did in order to back up your points and arguments. This will be done in two ways: In-text citations and a reference page (bibliography).
In-Text Citations Throughout your journal and final report, you will consistently be referencing the information you have gathered. This is what we call "in-text citations" - APA style. Include an in-text citation when you refer to, summarize, paraphrase, or quote from another source. For every in-text citation in your paper, there must be a corresponding entry in your reference list. Below is an example of what an in-text citation can look like: |

Reference Page
At the end of your project, you must include a reference page that lists all the resources you used throughout your project. This reference list must follow proper APA format - you will learn how to do this in your social studies courses but a handy handout can be found on this page to guide you!
