EXHIBITION 2021 INFORMATION

This year, we will not be holding a typical in-person exhibition in the gym. Rather, you will each be preparing a maximum 3 minute video discussing your project. This video should include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • 1. What is your inquiry question?
  • 2. What interest did you have in this topic?
  • 3. What was your goal and did you meet it?
  • 4. What IB characteristics did you use and develop the most (ATLs, Learner Profile)?
  • 5. What was your greatest learning takeaway?

You may make your video with either Powerpoint or Keynote with a voiceover explaining the slides and information. You can learn how to do this by watching the videos under the "Tutorial" section of this website. Title your video with your name and your topic (ex: John Smith - String Theory Solution Model).

Once you have made your video, your must upload it to Microsoft Teams. Follow these steps:

Go to the Boyd-Personal Project      Team. From the top menu, click on Files.

Once you click on that tab, you will see the folder titled "PP Exhibition Videos" - Click on the folder and then press the "Upload" button to add your video.

Things to Note:
  • You do not need to video yourself if you do not want to. A voiceover is enough. Similarly, if you want to be talking straight into the camera, that works too.
  • Feel free to include pictures of your project as well as your process journal.
  • Most important! Do not just copy/paste your report onto slides. Be particular about what you choose to include and what you leave out. Make it an interesting presentation!
  • These videos will be compiled and placed on a private Youtube channel - the link will be sent out to students and parents to watch the exhibition on March 11th, 2021.
  • Videos submitted later than March 10th at 3 pm will not be able to be uploaded onto Youtube - this will result in a missing component of your grade.
  • Remember: Title your video with your name and your topic (ex: John Smith - String Theory Solution Model). This is very, VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!
